Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
We offer an extensive program of HSC preparation courses across a range of subjects as well as complementary study skills courses for HSC students to help maximise their HSC results.
Economics course provides students with opportunities to develop their analytical, problem-solving and communication skills to make informed judgements about economic issues in a contemporary Australian economic context.
The Economics HSC contains four section, 20 Multiple Choice Question, 4 Short Answer Question (multi-parts), 1 Stimulus-based extended response (students choose one of the two questions) and 1 Extended Response (students choose one of the two questions). The whole exam takes 3 hours.
The content taught in this course is highly relevant, and designed to fit the HSC economics style, as well as being specific to essential syllabus and assessment requirements.
Delivery style
Mode: online and/or offline. The content of class includes short answer practice, multiple choice analysis, essay planning, sample HSC question practice and feedback, extended discussion of issues and implications, and analysis of past student high-brand responses.
Student will be able to:

- Writing well-structured Economic essay
- Reflect core processes of economic research
- Identify Contemporary economic issues regarding to examination response technique
- apply economic theory to explain how a government could address an economic problem or issue in hypothetical situations
- evaluates the consequences of contemporary economic problems and issues on individuals, firms and governments
- applies mathematical concepts in economic contexts
