Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
We offer an extensive program of HSC preparation courses across a range of subjects as well as complementary study skills courses for HSC students to help maximize their HSC results.
Chinese and Literature HSC contains three sections, 2 parts of Listening Questions, 1 part of Short Answer Question with 1 Writing Question according to prescribed texts, and 2 parts of Writing Essays. The whole exam takes 3 hours. The content taught in this course is adhered to prescribed themes and contemporary issues, and is based on HSC Chinese and Literature syllabus and assessment requirements.
Delivery style
Mode: online. The content of class includes listening answer practice, prescribed text analysis, short answer practice, essay planning, sample HSC question practice and feedback, extended discussion of prescribed texts and essay topics, and analysis of past student high-brand essays.
Student will be able to:
- Get a comprehensive analysis of questions over the past 10 years Chinese HSC papers
- Identify appropriate features of language in a variety of contexts
- Convey information, opinions and ideas appropriate to contexts
- Produce well-structured essays which are persuasive, creative and discursive
- Identify Contemporary Chinese culture and society topics regards to examination response technique
